When watching the beginning of the film Seven , the first thing we see is a book opening( the camera shot from the side of the book) to an unknown page. Just then a creepy music starts to play which builds up tension in the first second of film. Then moving on the next title sequences, in the title sequence we see pictures of people with abnormal features such as extra hands growing out their wrists. ( This signals to the audience that the film goes outside what most of us regard as normality. Then there are cutaways to show the hands of the killer but does not show the face of the killer to the audience to build more tension and make the audience think who could be the killer. For the sound effects the film editor has used hard mental music and sharp noises. In the same moment we see sharp mental which looks like its ready to kill some one. The dominant colours are red and black which are the two colours that represent death. We see notes, plans of what had been done to people or is going to be done in the future. By showing the plans it shows that the killer is clever and knows what he or she is going to be doing. The title sequence is shown with black back ground and the font of the writing looks like its hand written. The cuts are very quick which builds more and more tension.
